Teaching jumpers from all across Colombia between their events and taking the gondola to dinner was the perfect way to end our short trip to Colombia.

It was harder to get out of bed today after staying up so late last night, but I was excited for our last day in Colombia. We hopped back on the bus from the day before and were driven 45 minutes to a Confama water park. They had a gym on the property where the Colombian jumpers would be having a mini tournament and we would teach them between their events.

The more I talked with the jumpers the more my Spanish improved. I was able to communicate well with the jumpers with words and not just movements. We taught a lot of skills and while watching their routines I could see skills we had taught just the day before already being implemented into routines.

I always love working with motivated jumpers and they were so hardworking and excited about every trick. There was never a dull moment as jumpers would constantly ask us to teach them a skill or wanted to show us something they learned.

After the competition finished we took lots of photos and said lots of hard goodbyes. It was sad to think today was our last day as we just arrived a few days ago.

We enjoyed lunch at the water park and then drove back to our hotel. We rested for a while then changed and met up with Joaquin. For our last night he took us on a gondola to a restaurant that overlooked the city. Since Medellin is so hilly, they have gondolas attached to the metro. Joaquin says he takes on every single day to get to school or work.

The view of the valley lit up was stunning. I stared out the window at dinner the whole time. For my last meal I had empanadas and ice cream for dessert. It was the perfect way to end the sort time we had in Colombia.
