We taught some very excited and motivated jumpers in the morning and then joined a street performing group after dinner.

Today we hopped on a bus and drove up two hours to a Confama (the company sponsoring us) park. We went into this big concrete room which is normally used for meetings. We met up with about fifty jumpers from a few different Colombian teams and taught them. They were all so motivated to learn and worked really hard. It is always fun to teach, but even better when the jumper is excited.

I used a lot of my Spanish to teach, but it was hard because we didn't learn a lot of the jump rope terms I wanted to use in school. The workshop lasted about four hours and I saw a huge improvement in each jumpers skill.

We then drove back down and walked to lunch where I had bandeja paisa again. The afternoon was set aside to tour around the city. Joaquin took us to the metro that took us to Plaza Botero, which is a park filled with beautiful statues from the artist Fernando Botero. Before heading back, we did some window shopping, where I got the rest of my souvenirs.

After the long days we had, we were tired and rested up in the room. Once we were hungry we set out to find street food. I had delicious empanadas. On the way back we ran into a street performing group and ended up talking to them for a while and we told them that we were jump ropers. They invited us to come perform with them, so we ran back to the room to grab ropes.

They we so nice and we had such a great time performing that we ended up following them for a few shows. They even tried to put some of their flips and dance moves in the ropes. It was hard to leave them, but we had to get up early the next day so we exchanged Instagrams and Facebooks and said goodbye.

It was such an incredible experience interacting with locals and sharing our sport with excited onlookers.
