A day filled with performances at two schools and a muddy park.

After croissants for breakfast we hopped in a van and went to the first school for a performance. The school was four stories and had a huge courtyard in the middle. We took use of that courtyard and did a quick performance as the kids were coming down from their classes. We then got out double dutch ropes and turned for the kids to all take turns jumping. They loved it and asked me lots of questions in Spanish. They we hard to understand because they were excited so they spoke really fast, but I answered what I could. After talking and jumping with the kids we did another performance.

We then had empanadas in the cafeteria for a snack and malt soda which is a popular drink. We waved goodbye and got back in the van and headed to the next school.

We did two performances for two groups of students. We turned for them to try double dutch and they had so much fun. The kids loved us and we had to sign lots of autographs. We then packed up our ropes and waved goodbye.

We hopped back in the van and went to the hotel to drop our bags. We went out to lunch and I had the traditional meal of bandeja paisa. It comes with bacon, sausage, ground beef, rice, plantains, avocado, and eggs. It is delicious.

After we did some window shopping for souvenirs, but retreated back to the hotel when it begin to poor rain. We rested for a while, but still had another performance at the park from yesterday so we changed and headed out.

It took about 40 minutes to get there, so the rain had stopped by then, but the ground was still wet. We met another team from Colombia there. The ground was very muddy and slippery so we had to play it safe with our routines.

After the muddy performance we went back to the hotel and changed for dinner. We ended up at an Italian place and split pizza.
